  Walk-in Testing - February 2 - February 21

1/29/2015 - The State Civil Service Commission will be conducting Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) Cadet and Liquor Enforcement Officer Trainee (LEOT) testing in each of its test centers on varying dates beginning February 2, 2015 through February 21, 2015. During this time, the availability of walk-in testing will be significantly limited (walk-in testing is available to PSP Cadet and LEOT candidates only on the dates those exams are offered in a test center). For all other exams, before attempting to test by walk-in, you must contact the test center at the following numbers to determine if walk-in testing is available on that date: Harrisburg, (717) 783-3058; Philadelphia, (215) 560-2253; Pittsburgh, (412) 565-7666; all other centers, (717) 787-2935.


  Corrections Officer Trainee
12/22/14:  The Corrections Officer Trainee examination under Announcement 2011-099 will close for application and testing January 31, 2015.  A new examination is anticipated to open in March 2015.  If you have applied under Announcement 2011-099 and do not test by January 31, 2015, you must wait and reapply under the new announcement issued in March.  Please revisit our website, Job Seekers page, for the upcoming announcement.

11/10/2014 - Due to ongoing budget constraints, the Allentown Examination Center remains closed. Candidates from the Allentown area wishing to test should consider scheduling their examinations at the Harrisburg, Philadelphia or Scranton examination centers. Please periodically check this website for any change in status.
